Mentor Commitment
I recognize that an important part of the roots journey is participants meeting regularly with their mentor.
I commit to making every effort to connect/meet weekly with the disciple that I am mentoring for the coming year.
I will be sure we meet either in a public place or at our church where someone is present. Should at any time I hear that an individual may be in danger or hurting themselves or another I will share this information with the parents of whom I am discipling. I will not promise to keep information a "secret", but I will also not fall into gossip. As I am able I will read the information and lead from the material in the multiply movement and will communicate with the roots leadership on a monthly basis.

Above all I will pray, encourage and engage in caring, Biblical, Christ-centered conversations for God's glory with the participating disciple.
